Predicting Study Anxiety During The Corona 19 Pandemic Through University Students' Motivation Towards Distance Learning And Learning Strategies In The Sultanate Of Oman

Résumé: حثت الدراسة الحالية إمكانية التنبؤ بقلق الدراسة لدى الطلبة العمانيين الجامعيين، من خلال الدافعية الداخلية، والدافعية الخارجية، واستراتيجيات التعلم خلال أزمة كورونا كوفيد 19. وظفت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي، وتكونت العينة من (547) طالباً وطالبة من مختلف الجامعات والكليات العمانية. استجاب المشاركون على ثلاثة استبيانات تتعلق بقلق الدراسة والدافعية واستراتيجيات التعلم (الحفظ والتوضيح والتنظيم والعمل مع الرفاق). أوضحت النتائج أن الطلبة لديهم مستويات مرتفعة من قلق الدراسة والدافعية الخارجية واستراتيجيات التعلم، مع مستوى منخفض من الدافعية الداخلية. وأوضح نموذج الانحدار إمكانية التنبؤ بقلق الدراسة طرديا من خلال الدافعية الخارجية، واستراتيجية التعلم مع الرفاق، وعكسيا من خلال الدافعية الداخلية. The current study examined the possibility of predicting study anxiety among Omani university students, through intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, and learning strategies during the Corona Covid 19 crisis. The study employed the descriptive approach, and the sample consisted of (547) students from various Omani universities and colleges. Participants responded to three questionnaires related to study anxiety, intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation and study strategies (memorization, clarification, organization, and work with peers). The results showed that the students had high levels of study anxiety, extrinsic motivation, and learning strategies, with a low level of intrinsic motivation. The regression model demonstrated the possibility of predicting study anxiety directly through extrinisc motivation, and the learning strategy with peers, and inversely through intrinsic motivation.
