العلاقات الأمريكية الصينية: هل ستتجه نحو حرب باردة جديدة؟

Résumé: تتناول هذه الدراسة العلاقات الراهنة بين الولايات المتحدة والصين، خاصة منذ تولي إدارة دونالد ترامب الحكم في الولايات المتحدة، حيث أثار التحول من التعاون إلى التنافس الاستراتيجي جدلا حول ما إذا كان العالم على شفا حرب باردة جديدة. رغم اختلاف البيئة الدولية الراهنة عن سابقتها، مع ذلك لا يزال شبح الحرب الباردة يلوح في الأفق على الشؤون العالمية، لكن هناك الكثير من التغيرات التي حصلت بعد سقوط الاتحاد السوفيتي، لهذا تسعى هذه الدراسة لكشف ما اذا كان مفهوم الحرب الباردة التقليدية يحمل نفس الدلالة لما يحدث الآن من تنافس بين القوتين. This study deals with US-China current relations, where the shift from cooperation to strategic rivalry has triggered an intensifying debate about whether the world is on the precipice of a new Cold War. This study argues that although US-China rivalry has not presented with some essential elements of the US-Soviet cold war. The shadow of the Cold War still looms large over global affairs. But much has changed since the end of the Cold War and the fall of the Soviet Union. In an increasingly interconnected world, is the concept of a Cold War still relevant.
