Étude De La Qualité Physico-chimique Des Eaux Souterraines Et De Surfaces Destinées Pour L’alimentation En Eau Potable Dans La Ville D’ain Defla

Résumé: Most of the water we consume, comes from various underground and surface sources, contains, in its raw state, mineral and organic substances, some of which can be harmful to health. The objective of this work is to study the physico-chemical quality of groundwater and surface water intended for drinking water supply in the city of Ain-Defla. In this context, a detailed analysis of several physicochemical parameters characterizing drinking water was carried out at the Algerian Water Laboratory (ADE) of Ain Defla during the period (April-June) of the year. 2021. This work was carried out on the water samples from the three boreholes (Arib F1, Arib F2, F. Hadj Sadouk) and four (04) samples for the surface water of the Sidi M'hamed be Taiba dam (SMBT) in different depths (5m-10m-15m), in the raw state and downstream of the treatment station. The hydrogeochemical study shows that the chemical facies of the waters analyzed is chlorinated, sulphated calcium and magnesian according to the classification of Piper. In general, it can be concluded, from the results obtained, that the physicochemical characteristics of groundwater and surface water (SMBT dam) intended for the drinking water supply (AEP) of the city of Ain Defla are generally acceptable. On the other hand, the water from the F1 Arib borehole seems generally mediocre with values that do not meet Algerian drinking water standards.
