نماذج من الدور العسكري للخيالة النوميدية من الحرب البونية الثانية إلى نهاية فترة حكم الملك يوبا الأول 218- 46 ق.م

Résumé: ﻟﻌب الخيالة النومديون دورا ﻓﻲ الحروب اﻟﺘﻲ ﺷﺎركت فيها، سواء ﻓﻲ اﻟﺠيش النوميدي أو كفرق ﻣﺴﺎعدة أو مرتزﻗﺔ ﻓﻲ اﻟﺠيش القرطاجي أو الروﻣﺎﻧﻲ، واﺳتطﺎعت ﻓﻲ ﻛﺜير من المواجهات أن تحسم المعركة وترجّح اﻟﻜﻔﺔ لصالحها، وﺟﺎء أول ذكر للفرسان النوميديين ﺧﻼل الحرب البونية اﻷوﻟﻰ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻟﺴﺎن "بوليبيوس" ﻓﻲ صقيلية، ليتوالى ذكرهم من طرف المؤرخين واﻟﻜﺘﺎب الذين ﺗﻨﺎولوا الحروب واﻟصراﻋﺎت اﻟﺘﻲ ﺷﺎركت فيها الخيالة النوميديون وكتب الكثير منهم عن فعاليتها العسكرية، ومن خلال بعض المعارك التي شارك فيها الفرسان النوميديون ولعبوا فيها دورا فعالا وحاسما خلال فترة الممالك المستقلة. The Numidian cavalry played a role in the wars in which it participated, whether in the Numidian army or as auxiliary or mercenary troops in the Carthaginian or Roman army, and it was successful in many clashes. The first mention of the Numidian horsemen dates back to the First Punic War by Polybius. In Sicily, they were mentioned several times by historians who dealt with the wars and conflicts in which the Numidian cavalry participated, and many of them wrote about their military effectiveness and about some of the battles in which the Numidian horsemen participated and played an effective and decisive role during the period of the independent kingdoms.
