The Role Of Sustainable Tourism Clusters In The Tourism Sector Sustainability: Case Study Of Algeria

Résumé: Sustainable tourism clusters represent a contemporary strategic approach adopted by numerous countries to enhance the tourism sector and achieve sustainable development, particularly in light of current global economic and environmental challenges. This study seeks to highlight the role of these clusters in advancing the sustainability of Algeria’s tourism sector by analyzing the sector’s current state (components, performance), presenting a conceptual framework for sustainable tourism clusters—emphasizing their significance and linkage to sustainable development—and then applying this framework to the Algerian context. The study concludes that Algeria possesses significant potential to activate this strategy, contributing to balanced tourism development capable of addressing future challenges.
