العلاقة بين أداء صناديق الاستثمار وسيولة سوق الأوراق المالية دراسة حالة سوق الأسهم الكويتي خلال الفترة (2012- 2022)
Résumé: This study aims to find out how the performance of investment funds affects the liquidity of the Kuwaiti stock market during the period extending from the first quarter of 2012 to the fourth quarter of 2022, and in order to determine this effect, we tried to model the data available to us through the automatic regression model of distributed lag (ARDL), where the model considers stock market liquidity as a dependent variable and (number of mutual funds, total assets of mutual funds) as independent variables. The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which is the existence of a balanced and integrated relationship in the long run between the turnover ratio of stocks and investment fund indices. Moreover, total mutual fund assets that are six quarters in arrears (that is, one and a half years in arrears) positively affect equity turnover. Moreover, the applied model showed that the number of mutual funds that are four quarters in arrears (that is, one year in arrears) negatively affects the equity turnover ratio as well.
