Résumé: The current study aimed to identify the relationship between addiction to social networking sites. To verify the hypotheses of the study, we relied on the descriptive-associative approach and applied two scales, the Facebook Addiction Scale and the psychological Loneliness Scale, to a randomly selected sample of 130 students, and the data was processed by the statistical packages programspss. the study reached the following results: There is a statistically significant correlation between Facebook addiction and psychological loneliness of undergraduates. There are no significant differences between Facebook addiction and psychological loneliness among university students attributed to the gender variant. There are no statistically significant differences between Facebook addiction and psychological loneliness among university students due to the specialization variable. There are no statistically significant differences between Facebook addiction and psychological loneliness among university students due to the variable hours of Facebook use.
