رؤى نقدية حول روايات بوليبيوس وليفيوس لمعركة زاما Critical Views On Polybius And Livius Narrations About The Battle Of Zama

Résumé: الملخص باللغة العربية: سأحاول من خلال هذا المقال أن أعرض بعض الآراء والدراسات النقدية التي تعرّضت بالتحليل العلمي الأكاديمي لكتابات بوليبيوس على وجه الخصوص و تيتوس ليفيوس ومن نقل عنهما أحداث معركة زاما حيث لا يختلف اليوم المؤرخون على ميولات بوليبيوس إلى الجانب الروماني في سرده لأحداث الحروب البونية. ولقد برز على الساحة العلمية والتاريخية في السنوات الأخيرة مقالات ودراسات نقدية في هذا الموضوع والتي ستكون مرتكزا لهذه الدراسة والتي ستكون محاولة لقراءة نقديّة لبعض الأحداث التي فيه شبهة خاصة في وافعية التكتيك الحربي لسكيبيو في المعركة وبعض التعارضات مع الإكتشافات الأثرية ذات الصلة بوقع زاما وموقع الموانئ القرطاجية . تجدر الإشارة إلى كون هذا المقال محاولة لنقد بعض الأحداث حول معركة زاما وليس محاولة لضرب مصداقية المصادر القديمة في كل ما تقدّمه من معلومات. Abstract: I will try through this paper, to expose some of the views and critical studies that were dealt with an academic and scientific analysis with the writings of Polybius and Titus Livius and those who quoted the events of the Battle of Zama from them. Recently, articles and critical studies on this subject have appeared on the scientific and historical scene, which will be the basis for this study as an attempt to a critically review of some of the events in which there is a special suspicion especially about the effectiveness of Scipio's war tactics in the battle and some contradictions with the archaeological discoveries related to the Zama site and the location of the Carthaginian ports. It should be noted that this article is an attempt to criticize some of the events around the Battle of Zama and not an attempt to undermine the credibility of the ancient sources in all the information they provide.
