Résumé: الملخص: هدفت دراستنا لتقييم مستوى التفاؤل والتشاؤم لدى الطلبة المقبلين على التخرج، استخدمنا المنهج الوصفي وقائمة التفاؤل والتشاؤم لأحمد عبد الخالق(1996) التي طبقناها على عينة تقدر ب100 طالب(ة) مقبلين على التخرج، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى التفاؤل منخفض ومستوى التشاؤم مرتفع لدى الطلبة المقبلين على التخرج ولا توجد فروق فردية ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى التفاؤل والتشاؤم تعزى لمتغير الجنس Our study aimed to assess the levels of optimism and pessimism among graduating students. We utilized a descriptive approach and employed Ahmed Abdel-Khalek's (1996) Optimism and Pessimism Scale, which was administered to a sample of 100 graduating students. The study findings revealed that the level of optimism was low and the level of pessimism was high among the graduating students. Furthermore, there were no statistically significant individual differences in the levels of optimism and pessimism attributed to gender.
