إشكالية ترجمة التعابير الاصطلاحية بين الإبداع والاتباع: قراءة في ترجمة إحسان عباس لرواية موبي ديك لصاحبها هرمان ملفل من منظور التكافؤ الديناميكي

Résumé: ملخّص: تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على التعابير الاصطلاحية كنهاً لغوياً وبعداً ثقافياً واشتغالاً ترجمياً، وتسعى إلى تبيان أبرز أنواعها وأهم خصائصها وكيف السبيل إلى ترجمتها من منظور الإبداع والاتباع بوصف التعابير الاصطلاحية منجزاً لغوياً يعكس ثقافة الجماعة اللّسانية، والعرف اللغوي الذي درجت عليه في التداول بها معجماً وأسلوباً ودلالة. وسيناقش البحث إشكالية نقل التعابير الاصطلاحية من منظور التكافؤ الديناميكي الذي يعد حجر الزاوية في نظرية أوجين أ. نيدا الترجمية والركن المتين فيها، الذي يقبل تسميات أخرى في علم الترجمة ومقارباته المختلفة. وستحاول الدراسة الإجابة على الكثير من الأسئلة، لعل أبرزها على الإطلاق: ما هي التعابير الاصطلاحية وما هي ميزاتها التكوينية؟ ما الأسس التي ترتكز عليها في البناء والتخريج؟ كيف يسهم التكافؤ الديناميكي في بلورة ترجمات تتساوق مع الأبعاد اللغوية والميتالغوية الأصلية؟ وما هي الإمكانات التي يمنحها للمترجم لإبراز ملكاته المعرفية والتأليفية على حد سواء؟ Abstract: This study aims at casting light upon the idiomatic expressions as a linguistic essence, a cultural dimension and translational performance, and seeks to expose its most prominent types and most significant characteristics, and how possible to render them from the perspective of creativity and adherence, qua the idiomatic expressions are a linguistic achievement that reflects the culture of the speech community, and the linguistic convention that they get used to put into circulation lexically, stylistically and semantically. The research will discuss the problematic nature of transferring idiomatic expressions from the dynamic equivalence standpoint, which is the cornerstone of Eugene A. Nida's theory of translation and its firm basis, and which accepts other appellations in translation studies and its various approaches. The paper will attempt to answer many questions, the most prominent perhaps are: what do idiomatic expressions refer to and what are their formative features? what are the fundamentals they rest on in construction and upbringing? how does dynamic equivalence contribute to crystallize translations that are consistent with the original linguistic and metalinguistic extents? and what are the possibilities it offers to the translator to manifest the latter’s information-related and authoring competencies likewise?
