Résumé: Most developing countries, including Algeria, are keen to attract foreign direct investment, facilitate their flows as one of the most important sources of external financing and one of the means to increase productivity, improve economic indicators and achieve sustainable development, by improving the quality of their institutions, This study assesses the impact of enterprise quality on attracting foreign direct investment to Algeria during the period (1995-2019), using the Distributed Slowdown Regression Model (ARDL), and using economic determinants and indicators of free freedom. Sadat, which reflects the economic institutional quality and two indicators of governance for the World Bank, which represents the political institutional quality, we have found a common integration between the quality of institutions and foreign direct investment through testing the limits of joint integration and the value of F-statistic calculated greater than the higher critical value at a significant level at 1% 2.5%, 5% and 10%.
