Résumé: Through this research, we have been exposed to barriers that prevent female students from exercising in university neighborhoods, and their impact on women's sports, and the aim of this study was to identify the barriers and barriers that prevent female students from exercising in order to reach appropriate solutions. All of this was reflected in the general hypothesis that there are obstacles that prevent female university students from practicing sports in university neighborhoods, and part lysed from it partial hypotheses, the first related to the exercise of sports in the university district, and the second in the social environmental environment, and the third concerns the psychological aspect and the fourth in the religious factor, and the fifth is specialized in the academic aspect. Through our field study, we selected a sample of 150 female students, where the research was distributed at the university residence 1000 female beds in Ghardaïa, for a period from December to February 2020, following that descriptive survey approach, which is in line with the social phenomenon that we studied, to be able to collect information from the source directly according to the distributed questionnaire. In the end, we came to the conclusion that the social environment is incompatible with women's exercise, and that the society's perception of women's exercise is still negative because of the workers of sports wear and shyness, which is the most important psychological barrier for female students, and that the lack of appropriate time for sports activity with the study of female students, each of these reasons and other real obstacles prevented female university students from practicing sports.
