فعالية السياسة النقدية في مجابهة التضخم دراسة حالة الجزائر
Résumé: This study aims to show the effect of monetary policy instruments in curbing inflation rates in Algeria during the period 1990-2017. Weused money supply and interest rates (Monetary policy instruments) as independent variables and inflation as a dependent variable. We conducted the econometric study using the VAR model within the Eviwes9 program to address and analyze the data. The most important results obtained were an inverse relationship between the interest rate and the rate of inflation, ie the higher the interest rate the lower the rate of inflation. According to the causality test, the interest rate causes inflation and this to reduce the money supply. The study also found that monetary policy succeeded to some extent in curbing inflationary pressures.
