Résumé: Suburban extensions due to saturation and func tional space in the ci ty of Constantine, with the lack of buildable land. The Ain el Bey Zouaghi area sout h of the city of Constantine is a striking example of this extension, she met with the implementation of many habitats. And this paper is an attempt to provide applied research, by the use of GIS as a tool for analysis and diagnosis of peri-s outh extension of the city of C onstantine, Ain El Bey Zouaghi area as a case study. The objective assigned to this work is to study the extension of the suburban city of Constantine, and set a vision ( lighting) on the case study area Zouaghi Ain El Bey to use and apply the system geographic information (Map Info) by establishing a database capable of describing a more advanced elements constituting our study area.
