Résumé: This study aims to identify the reality of Islamic Takaful insurance in Algeria, with reference to the EL SLAMA case study for insurance, as it is the only company that practices this type of activity with a focus on the fundamental differences that exist between takaful and conventional insurance. The study showed that takaful insurance is the legitimate alternative to commercial insurance, in addition to the most important products offered by the Takaful Company to the Algerian insurance market, and among the challenges that the Takaful insurance company faces is its compliance with the Commercial Insurance Law, which is inconsistent with its Islamic business and products and its Takaful objectives with several legal and investment differences
