الغرب والشرق أو لعبة المرايا المتناظرة على ضوء الكتابات الفكرية العربية المعاصرة

Résumé: سنحاول أن ننطلق في بناء رؤيتنا لموضوع هذا البحث من القاعدة التالية، وهي أنّ أيَّ حديثٍ عن الهويات العملاقة Méga – identité ونقصد بها: الشرق والغرب لا يخلو من الصعوبات والمزالق، والسبب يرجع إلى تعرّضِ المقولتين للاستفراغ المعرفي، وتحوّلهما إلى مقولتين أيديولوجيتين، تمّ استعمالهما في اطار ما يُطلق عليه في الأدبيات السياسية بـ صراع الحضارات، وتقاتل الهويات. وقد توصلنا، بعد قراءة عدد من المؤلفات الفكرية العربية إلى أنّ الآليات التي اعتمد عليها الغرب في إنتاج رؤيته الاختزالية عن الشرق هي إلى حد ما نفس الآليات التي وظفها الشرق في بناء تصوراته عن الغرب المسيحي واليهودي. We will attempt to start building our vision for this research topic from the following premise: any discussion about the mega-identities—namely, the East and the West—is fraught with difficulties and pitfalls. This is due to the fact that both concepts have undergone a process of intellectual exhaustion, transforming into ideological constructs that have been utilized within the framework referred to in political literature as the clash of civilizations and the struggle of identities. After reading a number of Arab intellectual works, we have come to the conclusion that the mechanisms that the West relied on in producing its reductionist view of the East are to some extent the same mechanisms that the East employed in constructing its perceptions of the Christian and Jewish West
