Literature And The Electronic Media Of India: An Overview Of The Significance Of Radio And Television

Résumé: In India, electronic media plays a significant role in the broadcast and presentation of literary works. The article analysis several literary works that were broadcasted through various forms of Indian electronic media as a case study and focuses on various significant aspects. The article highlights the ability of electronic media specially radio and television to disseminate the literary works among mass million and gain popularity within a short span of time. The article also highlights how literary works use electronic media to reflect the society and to reach the global audience. Along with this the article focuses on the pattern of radio and television broadcasting. Radio broadcast in an acoustic way where as television broadcast in an audio visual mode which easily attract the audience and penetrate deep into the heart of the audiences.
