Résumé: يعرف هذا المقال بإشكالية تتعلق بدور تدريس العلوم الإسلامية في المقاومة الثقافية للاستعمار الفرنسي بالجزائر، حيث يعتبر التعليم وخاصة التعليم العربي الحر في الجزائر في مرحلة ما بين 1920- 1945 أحد أهم الوسائل والأساليب التي استند إليها رجال الفكر والإصلاح لمواجهة الجهل وإحداث التغيير في المجتمع، وتضمن هذا التعليم تدريس العلوم الإسلامية كنوع من المقاومة الثقافية للاحتلال الفرنسي الذي استهدف كلا من اللغة العربية والدين الإسلامي، وقد بين البحث واقع التعليم في الجزائر خلال الفترة المذكورة آنفا، وكشف عن بعض الجهود التي بذلها رجال الإصلاح في تدريس العلوم الإسلامية ونشر التعليم العربي وأبرزَ بعض ما أسفرت عنه تلك الجهود في تدريس العلوم الإسلامية في مقاومة الاحتلال الفرنسي حينها. This article defines the problem related to the role of teaching Islamic sciences as a means of cultural resistance to French colonialism in Algeria. Education, especially Arab education in Algeria in the period between (1920-1945), Is one of the most important means and methods that the reformers relied on to confront ignorance and bring about change in society. This education included the teaching of Islamic sciences as a kind of cultural resistance to the French occupation, which targeted both the Arabic language and the Islamic religion. The research showed the reality of education in Algeria during the aforementioned period, and revealed some of the efforts made by reformers in teaching Islamic sciences and spreading Arabic education, and highlighted some of the results of those efforts in teaching Islamic sciences in resisting the French occupation at the time.
