Teachers' And Students' Attitudes Toward The Use Of The Cooperative Learningmethod In Enhancing The Writing Skill
Résumé: The foremost target behind conducting this study is to investigate students' and teachers' attitudes and perspectives towards the use and implementation of the cooperative learning method in enhancing the writing skill, and to determine whether the writing skill can be enhanced through the use of the cooperative learning method. Accordingly, the dissertation in hand exposes general issues related to cooperative learning and the writing skill. For the purpose of verifying the validity of the research hypothesis which states that learners and teachers would report more positive attitudes and perspectives if they appropriately used cooperative writing tasks, a descriptive research design was implemented in which two questionnaires were administered. The first questionnaire was directed to forty second year students at Belhouchet Cherif secondary school. While the second one was delivered to twenty teachers of English from five various secondary schools. The obtained results confirmed the research's hypothesis and demonstrated that both teachers and students have positive attitudes and perceptions toward the use of cooperative learning groups and consider it as an effective method that enhances the writing skill
