محدودية قدرة المعالجة المعرفية في الترجمة الفورية

Résumé: ان الترجمة الفورية نشاط معرفي صعب ومعقد للغاية يستلزم تخصيص موارد معرفية للتنفيذ المتزامن لمهام متعددة في آن واحد: الاستماع وتحليل مدخلات الخطاب، تخزينها في الذاكرة العاملة، واعادة صياغتها في اللغة الهدف. وبما أن القدرة العقلية للمترجم الفوري محدودة، يجب ألا تتجاوز قدرة المعالجة محدودية سعة الذاكرة العاملة. استنادا على نموذج الجهد لدانيال جيل، تهدف دراستنا الحالية الى تقديم شرحا مفصلا لنشاط الترجمة الفورية، من خلال تسليط الضوء على الجوانب المختلفة للقدرة المعرفية للمترجم الفوري، ومعالجة مسألة العبء المعرفي المفروض على الذاكرة العاملة أثناء المعالجة المتزامنة للخطاب.Simultaneous interpreting is a complex cognitive activity that requires the allocation of cognitive resources to execute multiple tasks at once. Since the interpreter’s mental energy is limited, he has to manage the use of his efforts appropriately in a way that does not exceed the total available processing capacity. The effort model is one of the prominent interpreting models, regarded as an empirical and conceptual framework that is designed to provide a detailed illustration of cognitive processing mechanisms underlying the simultaneous interpreting process. Based on this approach, this contribution will discuss the cognitive aspects of interpreters’ performance in interpreting and try to shed some light on the high intrinsic working memory load.
