Résumé: The conflict started when Russia annexed Crimea in 2014 without military measures, than in 2022 declared a full scale invasion on Ukraine to stop the West expansion in Ukraine near to its borders and to not let Ukraine enlist in NATO. This dissertation investigates the roots and reasons of the War between Ukraine and Russia and the repercussions of this war on the United Kingdom it also discusses the relations between Britain and Ukraine and its role in this conflict. This study aims to provide a full understanding of the Ukrainian war throughout the history and its impacts on the United Kingdom. It uses the historical and descriptive methods to provide a historical timeline and connections to the present events and to describe these events.
