Résumé: حاولنا في هذا البحث ،ومن خلال سيرة إدوارد سعيد الذاتية، أن نرسم ملامح صوره كمثقف يحاول أن يقيم جسور التواصل بين ثقافتين متناقضتين: الأولى ثقافة عربية مسيحية أرثوذكسية والثانية ثقافة أمريكية أنجلوساكسونية لذلك شعر بأنّه خارج المكان فحاول أن يعثر على هويته المبعثرة بين هاتين الثقافتين المتناقضتين ويقدّمها للقارئ في حلّة جديدة يعروها التّوافق والانسجام.We tried this research and through the biography of Edward Said To draw the features of his image as an intellectual He tries to establish bridges of communication between two contradictory cultures The first is an Arab, Christian Orthodox culture, and the second is an Anglo-Saxon American culture Therefore, he felt that he was out of place and tried to find his identity scattered between these two contradictory cultures And he presents it to the reader in a new way that they define compatibility and harmony
