Résumé: This study aims to explore the vital role of speech-language pathologist (SLP) in preschool settings and underscore the importance of having a qualified speech-language pathologist (SLP) within this critical educational environment. The article delves into the significance of early detection of speech and language disorders, elucidates the SLP’s role in assessment and diagnosis, and reviews effective therapeutic intervention methodologies and implemented programs. Furthermore, it highlights the necessity of collaborative efforts between parents, the SLP, and educators, along with the crucial support from school administration for these services. The study also examines recent research and advancements in the field of SLP within preschools, and concludes with evidence-based recommendations to enhance the quality of provided services.
