تحديات وخصائص النموذج الجديد للاختبارات السريرية في ظل جائحة كوفيد19

Résumé: الملخص: تهدف هذه الورقة إلى تحليل آثار جائحة كوفيد 19 على مسار الاختبارات السريرية. وتحديد أنماط استجابة الشركات للتشوهات المقيدة لأنشطة مخابر البحث. مع الأخذ في الحسبان مشاكل عدم التأكد وتحديات مزاولة التجارب. بالإضافة إلى وصف ملامح النموذج الجديد المبني على منطق تعميق توظيف التكنولوجيا الرقمية في مجال البحوث الصيدلانية. وظفت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي والمنهج التحليلي بالاستناد إلى مصادر بيانات تخص منظمات حكومية ودولية وهيئات وأبحاث تهتم بشؤون الصحة والصناعة الصيدلانية. في الأخير، توصلت الدراسة إلى أن آثار جائحة كوفيد 19 تراوحت بين آثار عامة على الصناعة الصيدلانية قصيرة وبعيدة المدى. وآثار خاصة تتعلق بالبحث والتطوير. كما خلصت الدراسة إلى أن الشركات الصيدلانية العالمية تتجه إلى إعادة هيكلة مسار الاختبارات السريرية، كردة فعل إستراتيجية تهدف إلى احتواء الآثار السلبية لانتشار فيروس كوفيد 19من خلال: تصميم اختبارات سريرية غير مركزية، إعادة تنظيم توظيف المرضى المتطوعين، تقديم حلول التحكم عن بعد في المرضى، إنشاء منصات أدوات التحكم الافتراضي وأدلة العام الحقيقي بالإضافة إلى تعظيم سلسلة التوريد للاختبارات السريرية. Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the clinical trials. And shed the light on the companies adaptation strategies to the new restrictions on labs research activities by considering uncertainty issue and the experiments challenges. Furthermore it describes the features of the new model based on extending the digital technology usage within the pharmaceutical research domain. The study uses both descriptive and analytical approachs by refering to gouvernmental, international organizations in addition of researches institutions datasources which concern the health and pharmaceutical industry. Finally, the study first concluded to a general impacts of the Covid 19 pandemic on the pharmaceutical industry in both short and long terms, and second special impacts related to research and development. The study also stipulates that global pharmaceutical companies tend to restructure clinical trials process, as a strategic reaction, to limit the Covid 19 virus spreading by designing decentralized clinical trials, reviewing the volunteer patients hiring process, providing remote patient monitoring solutions, creating virtual control arms and real-world evidence, as well as optimizing the clinical trials supply chain
