Résumé: ملخص غيرت تكنولوجيا المعلومات طريقة إدارة المؤسسات لعملياتها التجارية، وإنتاج منتجاتها وتقديم خدماتها والتواصل مع عملائها الحاليين والمحتملين. ولذا لا تزال المواءمة بين تكنولوجيا المعلومات والعمليات التجارية والإستراتيجية مجالا يثير الاهتمام في العديد من المؤسسات، فهي تظهر على أنها مصدر الاهتمام الأكبر لمدير الأعمال وتكنولوجيا المعلومات. وتعتبر الإنترنت أداة من أهم أدوات تكنولوجيا المعلومات، ولكنها تقدم في الوقت نفسه فرصا وتحديات أمام المؤسسات، والمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة لا تستثنى من ذلك. وتحاول هذه الدراسة إثبات أن المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة يمكنها بلوغ تحقيق مزايا تنافسية من خلال اعتمادها للإنترنت، ولكن يجب أن يكون استخدام الإنترنت في مستوى المحاذاة الإستراتيجية والذي يساعد هذه المؤسسات على تحقيق مزايا تنافسية. Abstract Information technology has changed the way enterprises manage their business processes, produce their product, deliver their services and communicate with actuel and potential customer. Therfore, The alignment of information technology and business process and strategy is still a relevant area of concern in many enterprises, it continues to show up as a top concern for business and information technology manager. The Internet is one of more important instrument of information technology but it presents at the same time opportunities and challenges for enterprises, and small & medium enterprises is no exception. This study try to prove that SMEs can gain competitive advantages through the Internet adoption, but the use of Internet should be at the level of startegic alignment which helps enterprises to achieve competitive advantages.
