دراسة مدى تأثير بقايا النخيل (الكرناف) على إنتاجية المقطر الشمسي البسيط
Résumé: The lack of potable water is a major problem in various regions of the world as well as in some developing countries, and Algeria is one of the countries that suffer from this problem. Buying this water daily, and to find a solution to this problem, we discussed in this note a theoretical study of the solar distillation process, as it is considered one of the successful and economical (inexpensive) solutions, but it has somewhat weak productivity. Therefore, we conducted an experimental study with the aim of improving productivity, as we worked on four simple solar stills One of them is a traditional distillate without additives (the control), and the other distillates are all modified by adding palm residues inside the distiller basin with the difference in the distance between the carnave cylinders, which are as follows (the absence of the carnave, 5 cm, 10 cm and 15 cm). Where the results showed an increase in productivity and the highest improvement rate was estimated by 53.1% in the distillate MSS-1.
