Résumé: الملخص: تحتل الممتلكات الثقافية أهمية كبرى في كل دول العالم، وقد سعت هيئة الأمم المتحدة لوضع آليات تكفل حماية الممتلكات الثقافية لاسيما زمن النزاعات المسلحة، وقد تم استحداث نظام جديد يؤدي دور الحماية يعرف بنظام الحماية المعززة استحدثه البرتوكول الثاني لعام 1999 لاتفاقية لاهاي لعام 1954، إذ لم يكن موجود في الاتفاقيات والبروتوكولات السابقة، وقد أحاط هذا النظام الممتلكات الثقافية بجملة من الأحكام التي تتمتع بجانب كبير من الوضوح والتفصيل، كما أكد على توفير الحماية اللازمة للممتلكات الثقافية أثناء النزاع المسلح.
