الثقافة و التربية الدينية عند جون ديوي

Résumé: The American educator John Dewey is classified among the greatest philosophers of education that humanity has ever known for his knowledge and thoughts. A long his life, he enriched the world of education with a great number of books dedicated to this domain which he put in service of the american society and for the international community. This study aims to clarify the relationship between the Culture and religious education in Dewey’s thought. This education is considered as an important factor dealing with the individual and social existence. It is, according to Dewey, the basic element in forming individuals and building civilization for there are, in any civilisation, some transient elements and others are constant. The school is primarily a social institution, the school shoold grow gradually out of the home life,that it should take up and continue the activities with which, the child is already familiar in the home. Education like politics, literature and the plastic arts,is itself a phenomenon of human cullture. Evrery teacher should know the degnity of his profession, that he is a social servant set apart for the maintenance of proper social order and the securing of the right social grouth. In this way the teacher is always the prophet of the True God and the benchmark to the trait of the Right. He is the primary basis of education, he is the child’s powers when he works along the general constructive lines which gave birth to civilization. يصنف المربي الأمريكي جون ديويJohn Deweyضمن كبار فلاسفة التربية الذين أنجبتهم الإنسانية عبر تاريخها الطويل وذلك تقديرا لإنتاجه الفكري والتربوي الغزير الذي وضعه في خدمة أمته الأمريكية خاصة والمجتمع الإنساني بصفة عامة. يهدف هذا المقال إلى توضيح علاقة الثقافة بالتربية الدينية عند ديوي حيث تمثل التربية إحدى أهم المسائل المرتبطة بالوجود الفردي والإجتماعي، وهي تعتبر العامل الأساسي في تكوين الأفراد وبناء الحضارة، فهناك عناصر عابرة وأخرى باقية في الحضارة. المدرسة هي أولا مؤسسة إجتماعية، فينبغي أن تنمو المدرسة تدريجيا من حياة البيت، فتتعهد ألوان النشاط التي ألفها الطفل في البيت وتدفعها إلى الأمام، والتربية كالسياسة والأدب والفنون التشكيلية هي نفسها ظاهرة من ظواهر الثقافة الإنسانية وأن صلتها بالتاريخ الإجتماعي وبالحضارة صلة باطنة. يجب أن يعرف كل معلم كرامة مهنته أنه خادم إجتماعي إنفرد بحفظ النظام الإجتماعي الصحيح، وتأمين النمو الإجتماعي الصادق. وفي هذا الطريق المعلم هو دائما رسول الإله الحق والهادي إلى ملكة الحق والأساس الأول للتربية، هو قوى الطفل حين يعمل في نطاق تلك الخطوط العامة الخالقة التي أنتجت الحضارة.
