Résumé: يعد الأرشيف الفرنسي من بين أهم المصادر المادية في كتابة تاريخ المغرب المعاصر لما يحتويه من حقائق حول المغرب خلال الفترة الاستعمارية الفرنسية، التي شملت الدوائر الرسمية والغير الرسمية، وتكمن أهميته في محتواه الذي يتميز بدقة المعلومات التي تحتويها التقارير والبيانات الإحصائية، والصور وغيرها من الوثائق بمختلف أشكالها وأنواعها. ونظرا لأهمته ودوره الكبير في تمكين الباحثين والمؤرخين الدارسين لتاريخ المغرب المعاصر، من كشف الحقائق التاريخية حول مرحلة مهمة من مراحل تاريخ المغرب المعاصر، قمنا بتسليط الضوء على أهم المراكز الأرشيفية الفرنسية التي تضم في رفوفها وصنادقها أرشيف المغرب المعاصر this study deals with the importance and role of the french archive in historical writing, specifically the contemporary history of morocco,because it contains important information inmany areas of interest to the researcher when carrying out his study of historical facts, especially since most of the archive items can be issued by official or unofficial bodies, which makes it very important to verify the source of historical information ; the french archive is also a shared memory between memory between morocco and France, and it makes the two countries participate in many occasions and historical events.
