Management With Competencies Among The Heads Of The National Sports Federations In Algeria In The Light Of Strategic Management Standards And Ways To Develop Them

Résumé: Abstract: In light of the growth of multiple strategies, this study examines the reality of management with competencies among the heads of national sports federations. Algeria is one of the countries that developed appropriate strategies to attract, develop and improve competencies and use of them in the management process to reach the point of excellence. For this reason, the sports federations kept pace with these developments and included competencies as a basic axis in their management strategies, on which we focused in our study by finding out about the availability of (administrative, personal, technical, cognitive and cultural competencies) among the heads of sports federations in Algeria in the light of strategic management standards and ways to develop them, where we relied on the descriptive approach with the study community consisting of (administrators and managers) of sports federations. The sample was chosen in a deliberate way, and the questionnaire was distributed and it was designed in light of the objectives and questions of the research. In light of the research sample and data collection tools used, as well as the results and statistical treatments, it has been concluded that the heads of the Algerian sports federations possess a high level of efficiency and are governed by a comprehensive system of competences, knowledge, and skills, which reflects positively on the framework of their pursuit of excellence.
