Résumé: The United Nations has paid attention to the protection of intangible cultural heritage, and its various structures and bodies have endeavored to preserve this fragile cultural heritage, through UNESCO and the World Organization for the Protection of Intellectual Property , which have developed a number of international agreements specifically for this, it has therefore succeeded in developing an integrated system for the preservation of intangible cultural heritage that includes effective mechanisms for doing so, the most important of which are the UNESCO Convention of 2003, the Performances and Sound Recording Treaty of 1996, and the Beijing Treaty on Audiovisual Performances of 2012, but the will of States remains the only factor in the success of these efforts.
