Résumé: تبحث هذه الورقة العلمية في مسألة الرحلة ودورها في كتابة التاريخ و تسليط الضوء على أهمية هذا النوع من الكتابة، من باب الكشف عن إرث أدبي وجغرافي عربي واسع وثري، يكشف عن تجذر العلاقة بين المغرب والمشرق واشتراك كل منهما في إنجازه من ترحال العرب والمسلمين في جغرافيات متنوعة سفارة وتجارة وسياحة واستكشافا، وطلبا للعلم. وهو ما جعل العرب والمسلمين يتركون وراءهم إرثا من المخطوطات المصنفة في أدب الرحلة والعلوم الجغرافية على تنوعها، وكلها تحمل تصورات ومعلومات وأفكارا عن الآخر في عمرانه ومعاشه وتقاليده وثقافاته وأحواله ومن أبرز هؤلاء الرحالة عبد الباسط بن خليل الملطي نحو المغرب الأوسط. This scientific paper examines the issue of the trip and its role in writing history and highlighting the importance of this type of writing, in order to reveal a broad and rich Arab literary and geographical heritage, which reveals the roots of the relationship between Morocco and the Orient and their participation in their respective achievements from the travel of Arabs and Muslims in various geographies embassy, trade, tourism and exploration, and the demand for knowledge.nThis is why Arabs and Muslims leave behind a legacy of manuscripts classified in the literature of the journey and geographical sciences on their diversity, all of which carry perceptions, information and ideas about the other in its architecture, pension, traditions, cultures and conditions, the most prominent of which is the traveler Abdelbaset ben Khalil al-Malti towards the Middle East.
