Résumé: The Takaful insurance industry has witnessed a great spread and development in various countries of the world, as it has become a strong competitor to the commercial insurance industry. However, it still faces several challenges that stand in the way of its development in Algeria, the most important of which is the absence of insurance culture among the Algerian individual and the lack of development of the Islamic financial and banking system in Algeria. The study aims to analyze the reality of the development and growth of Takaful insurance in Algeria in the Salama Insurance Company, which is considered the only company practicing Takaful insurance activity in the Algerian market, based on the interview and analysis of the results of the financial documents submitted by the institution
