Documentary theater must be artistic in order to obtain its legitimacy. Achieving a balance between documentary realism and the artistic demands that the theater requires, the play "The Man with the Rubber Sole" by Kateb Yassin is a study model for the extent of the compatibility of theatrical art with the documentary based on facts.
