Résumé: Abstract This study aimed to identify the role of strategic direction in achieving social responsibility in its four different dimensions (the economic dimension, the legal dimension, the moral dimension, the human dimension) in the Biskra Cement Factory in the Wilayat of Biskra. Questionnaire For the purpose of data collection, the study sample consisted of (40) respondents, and the statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS.25) was used to analyze the questionnaire data using a set of statistical methods. The study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which were: the basic role of institutions in development, social progress and environmental protection, and their evaluation is no longer limited only to their profitability, but modern concepts have emerged such as the concept of social responsibility for institutions with four dimensions (economic, legal, moral, charitable), The strategic direction also plays a major role in achieving social responsibility. Based on these results, we draw some recommendations, including: the need for an institution to pay more attention to adopting the strategic direction in its management, and to take it as an approach in the development of social responsibility, and the need for accurate application of the strategic direction with its various elements and dimensions in the institution, the need for the institution to pay attention to the ethical and human dimension of social responsibility
