Résumé: Through this study, we aim to clarify the role of the Balanced Scorecard in evaluating the financial performance of the oil company. Naftal was selected as the research area based on a case study. The research results were based on analyzing the activities and practices carried out by the company during the period 2021-2023, as well as some interviews conducted and indicators extracted from the company's documents. The results showed that the company relies heavily on the financial and customer perspectives compared to the internal business processes and learning and growth perspectives, resulting in the deterioration of some indicators. The study highlighted the role of the Balanced Scorecard in evaluating the financial performance of the oil company and emphasizes the importance of its application for performance improvemen
