Résumé: This study was aimed at highlighting the impact of the evolution of ICT on the audit profession in Algeria's business environment to this end, we have conducted a field study on a sample of professionals and academics working in the Algerian business environment through the design of a questionnaire form. Where 51 form was distributed using the random sample method, from which I retrieved 40 analytical form, the study data were processed using the SPSS programme, and the study found several results, the most important of which was the urgent need to use the development of information technology in the audit profession. Information technology was greatly used in Algeria's audit function, which made it imperative for auditors to make optimum use of information technology tools
