ملامح من الحياة الاجتماعية والثقافية ليهود الجزائر خلال العهد العثماني (1516-1830)

Résumé: الملخص: تكونت الطائفة اليهودية بالجزائر خلال العهد العثماني من عدة فئات مختلفة الاصول والاعراق، خضعت مباشرة لسلطة الحكام العثمانيين، لكنها تمتعت بنظامها الديني والاجتماعي، في ظل قانون أهل الذمة الذي حدد بوضوح وضعيتها القانونية، وحريتها في ممارسة شعائرها الدينية، فكانت لها مدارسها ومحاكمها ومعابدها الخاصة، ولباسها المميز، وعاداتها وتقاليدها المستوحاة من ثقافتها اليهودية. واختار أغلب أفرادها الاقامة في المدن الكبرى من الايالة حتى المدن الصحراوية، للاستفادة من الاسواق والحركة التجارية، بينما اكتفى الاقلية بالمناطق الداخلية. ورغم الاندماج الذي أظهره اليهود عامة في المجتمع المحلي، وتعايشهم مع المسلمين، إلا أنهم حافظوا على خصائصهم وطقوسهم الروحية وطباعهم النفسية، ومارسوا مختلف الاعمال والنشاطات مفضلين التجارة كما هي عادتهم في كل البلدان الاخرى، حتى برعوا فيها بشكل ملحوظ. إن هذه الدراسة تسعى بحول الله إلى الاحاطة بالحياة الاجتماعية والثقافية ليهود بالجزائر، واظهار مكانتهم في المجتمع المحلي أثناء العهد العثماني. Resume. The Jewish community in Algeria was formed during the Ottoman period from various groups of different origins and ethnicities, which were directly subject to the authority of the Ottoman rulers, but enjoyed their religious and social system under the law of the people of Dhimah, which clearly defined their legal status and their freedom to practice their religious rites. Its special clothing, customs and traditions inspired by its Jewish culture. Most of them chose to stay in the big cities from El Ayala to the desert cities, to benefit from the markets and the commercial movement, while only the minority in the interior. Despite the integration of the Jews in the community and their coexistence with the Muslims, they maintained their spiritual characteristics and rituals, practiced various activities and handcrafts preferring to trade as they did in all other countries. This study seeks God to take care of the social and cultural life of the Jews in Algeria and to show their place in the community during the Ottoman period .
