حقيقة الميول الاستشراقية عند كارل بروكلمان في دراسة الأدب العربي

Résumé: إن معالجة الميول الخاصة لمن اهتموا بالتراث العربي من طرف المستشرقين لهي أمر غاية في المشقة والصعوبة، ذلك أن الروح العامة التي طبعت علماء الإستشراق لم تكن في مجملها محايدة ونزيهة وعلمية، خاصة ممن حركتهم دوافع ضمنية لدراسة بعض جونب هذا التراث، إما بدافع النقد والانتقاص منه أو أحيانا بدافع الرغبة الخالصة في البحث الجدي والمعرفة العلمية، لكن للأسف كان العامل العقائدي ولا يزال يحول دون حياد هذا العالم أو ذاك، وهذا ما جعل العرب أو عموم المسلمين ينفرون أو يرفضون في الغالب بالجملة عمل هؤلاء المستشرقين، بل ويحذرون منه حتى أنك تجد بعض التيارات الدينية والفكرية في كثير من البلاد العربية يضعون جميع أهل الاستشراق في ضفة واحدة ولا ينظرون إليهم إلا بعين الريبة مهما قالوا أو أنصفوا. Abstract This article attempts to discuss some of Brockelamann's concepts aboutThe Arabic literature in his multi-volume "Geschichte der arabischen Litteratur" and examines the body of thought produced by this great scholar. During a long and serene life as a scholar Brockelmann produced a wealth of fundamental publications that determined the direction of orientalism, from cuneiform studies to the political and literary history of the most recent periods, for generations to come. His monumental output represents, more than that of any other scholar, the unity of oriental studies in his time. It in no way detracts from his central significance that, as a result of expansion and accompanying specialization, the field has since been subdivided into numerous more restricted disciplines. Although research will continue to become more intensively focused, nevertheless the framework first laid down in Brockelmann’s ency¬clopedic studies will remain essentially unchanged.
