Etude Hydrochimique Des Eaux De La Nappe Du Complexe
Résumé: The groundwater resources in the Northern Sahara are represented by two superimposed major aquifer systems: the Continental Intercalaire (CI) and the Complex Terminal (CT). The waters of those aquifers pose serious physical and chemical quality problems; they are highly mineralized and very hard. The present work aims to describe the water’s by hydrochemical study of groundwater (Mio-Pliocene and senonien) of the Complex Terminal, by the study of water’s chemical composition compared to the lithology of aquifer formations through. The results obtained show that the water’s chemistry is essentially governed by the dissolution of evaporate formations which gives to waters an excessive mineralization expressed by high concentrations of sulfates, chlorides and sodium.
