Résumé: إن الإعلان عن قيام دولة الإمارة الأموية في الأندلس سنة (138ﻫ/755م)، قد شكّل موقفا سياسيًا معاديًا للخلافة العباسية، استفحل منذ تأسيس دولة الأغالبة سنة (184ﻫ/800م) في المغرب الأدنى الموالية لها، إلاّ أنّ المصالح المشتركة بينهما قد فرضت عليهما ربط العلاقات الدبلوماسية والتعاون الاقتصادي والثقافي والعسكري، لضمان أمنهما الإقليمي في الغرب الإسلامي والحفاظ على سيادتهما في حوض البحر المتوسط، درءًا للخطر المسيحي الإسباني والبيزنطي. The announcement of the establishment of the Umayyad Emirate state in Andalusia in the year (138 AH/755 AD), has constituted a political position hostile to the Abbasid Caliphate, which has become exacerbated since the establishment of the Aghlabid state in the year (184 AH/800 AD) in the Maghreb, which is loyal to it. Diplomatic relations and economic, cultural and military cooperation, to ensure their regional security in the Islamic West and to preserve their sovereignty in the Mediterranean basin, in order to ward off the Spanish and Byzantine Christian danger.
