The Algerian Banking System And The Effects Of Covid-19 Pandemic -the Algerian Exterior Bank As A Case Study-

Résumé: The year 2020 was marked by many upheavals following the Corona pandemic, in this research we studied the impact of this pandemic on the financial performance of banks, a descriptive, historical and analytical approach was followed. One of the most important conclusions of this study is that the Corona pandemic has strongly affected the financial and functional performance of banks and modified the pace of growth of the latter. Furthermore we conclude that the Bank of Algeria has issued a number of instructions to increase the financial liquidity ratio, grant loans, defer and reschedule them, and use new technologies to reduce the negative impact that can lead to banking risks in order to maintain the financial stability of the country.
