Intégration De L'architecture Urbaine A Alger En Vue De La Création D'un Îlot De Fraîcheur Urbain

Résumé: The reintegration of nature in the city is a major concern for city dwellers. This action can be materialized by urban agriculture, thanks to these different virtues, including the contribution to the creation of social links, a circular and solidarity economy, as well as short circuits in terms of nutritional supply. Moreover, the United Nations foresees a considerable increase in the number of urban dwellers by 2050, which will inevitably harm microclimate, as well as thermal comfort at the urban scale, by increasing urban heat islands. This research is part of environmental preservation approach, this is why, having as a problem the study of the contribution of the redevelopment of the urban wastelands of the hyper center of Algiers into agricultural spaces. To do this, we took as a case study the « Meissonier » market located in the commune of Sidi M'Hamed. In order to achieve this objective, our study was structured in two rubriques : a first dedicated to theory, where we studied the context of the emergence of urban agriculture, as well as the actions carried out by foreign metropolises in the framework of urban agriculture. The second part concerned a computer simulation carried out with the software ENVI-met 4.4.5, with the aim of proving the contribution of urban agriculture in the mitigation of urban heat islands. The results of this research allowed us to quantify the contribution of urban agriculture to the improvement of microclimate.
