Etude Numérique Du Comportements Tripologiques Des Composites Hybrides Al/sic/gr
Résumé: Metal matrix composites (MMC) are considered important engineering materials due to their excellent mechanical and tribological properties. When the metal matrix (or alloy) is reinforced by two or more reinforcements, these composites are called hybrid composites. Aluminum metal matrix composites, reinforced with silicon carbide (SiC) and graphite (Gr), are widely used due to their high strength and wear resistance. The tribological characteristics of such materials are superior to the characteristics of the matrix. This study presents a method to predict the tribological behavior of Al/SiC/Gr hybrid composites using fuzzy logic. The predicted values, with this fuzzy model, are in good agreement with the experimental values, with an accuracy of 97.68% for the wear rate and 97.70% for the coefficient of friction.
