Résumé: The literary discourse carries with it a lot of social, political and religious connotations, which are revealed by the cultural criticism method, which extracts the implicit hidden behind the aesthetics of the text, and this is what I dealt with in my research on the cultural patterns in Halabil’s novel, to reveal religious, political and social issues in Algerian society. In my research, I presented an introduction and introduction highlighting the most important concepts of cultural criticism and implicit cultural patterns, then the first chapter titled Social and Mythological Patterns in the Novel, and the second chapter titled Religious and Political Patterns. In our research, we reached results that show how the writer portrayed the religious, social and political reality of Algeria during and after colonialism, and the issue of the Algerian intellectual.
