Résumé: This study seeks to reveal the relationship of leadership practice to motivation within university management, specifically at the Faculty of Economics Sciences, Commerce and Management Sciences, by answering the main question is : What does leadership practice have to do with motivation? Sub-questions include: 1. Does the decision-making process have anything to do with increased efficiency among workers? 2. How does the pattern of leadership communication contribute to raising the morale of workers? 3. What are the dilemmas faced by the leadership authority in maintaining the stability of workers at work? To answer previous questions, a range of systematic procedures were relied upon, including the field research curriculum, and the reliance on the questionnaire tool to collect data on a sample of 55 administrative workers at the Faculty of Economics, Commerce and Management Sciences. The study found many findings: that there are four types of leaders within the institution; an authoritarian autocratic pattern characterized by the power of power and the application of orders, and another democratic pattern that consults workers in decision-making and cares about human relations, while the third is chaotic in its management of the institution. The fourth pattern combines previous patterns in accordance with the requirements of the positions and events experienced by the leader. It must be emphasized that the more a leader has a human and social democratic dimension, the better to achieve the goals of the institution
