Résumé: We decided that our research would be entitled: The Narrative Structure in the Novel A Detainee Memory as a "Model" by Bilal Lounis, and this research came after we were briefed on the subject of structure and narrative and the desire to study their most accurate elements. The study included two chapters; the first chapter is the study of the narrative structure between concept and comparison. As for the second chapter, we studied the narrative structure and the reflection of the writer's linguistic culture on the novel. Through the novel, the writer aims to show us the narrative structure in all its dimensions
