دور تقييم الأداء المالي في التنبؤ بالفشل المالي للشركات دراسة حالة عينة من الشركات المدرجة في سوق الكويت للأوراق المالية خلال الفترة 2009-2012

Résumé: نحاول من خلال هذا البحث إيجاد طريقة علمية تسمح بالكشف المبكر عن المخاطر التي يمكن أن تواجهها الشركات، حيث هدفت الدراسة إلى اختبار مدى قدرة عملية تقييم الأداء المالي باستعمال مجموعة من النسب والمؤشرات المالية على التنبؤ بالفشل المالي للشركات، وهذا في محاولة بناء نموذج ذي قدرة على التمييز والتنبؤ. ولغرض تحقيق أهداف البحث قمنا بدراسة عينة مكونة من 16 شركة فاشلة، و16 شركة سليمة، تنشط في سوق الكويت للأوراق المالية، خلال الفترة من سنة 2009، إلى سنة 2012، باستخدام طريقة التحليل التمييزي وخمس عشرة نسبة مالية تم حسابها انطلاقا من القوائم المالية لهذه الشركات. خلصت الدراسة إلى أن نسبتين من أصل خمس عشرة نسبة لها القدرة على التمييز بين الشركات الفاشلة والشركات السليمة، وتمثلت في كل من نسبة العائد على أصول، ونسبة دوران رأس المال. Through this study we try to find a scientific method that allows us to an early detection of risks that may be faced by companies. Therefore, the study aims to test the ability of the process of evaluating the financial performance using a set of financial ratios and indexes to predict the financial failure of firms. Hence, the study is an attempt to build a model that has a capacity for discrimination and prediction. To achieve these objectives we choose a sample of 16 failed companies, and 16 sound companies that are active in the Kuwait Stock Exchange during the period 2009-2012, using the discriminant analysis and fifteen financial ratios calculated from the financial statements of these firms. The study concluded that two out of the fifteen ratios have the ability to distinguish between the failed companies and sound companies, represented by the rate of return on assets and the ratio of sales to capital.
