العلاقات الدلالية في كتاب بهجة المَجَالِس وأنس المجالس لابن عبد البر القرطبي

Résumé: This study aims to explore semantic and pragmatic aspects of meaning from a rhetorical perspective, drawing on the field of text linguistics. The research methodology employed was applied to the book quot;Bahjat al-Majalis wa Anis al-Majalis wa Shihz al-Dhahin wa al-Hajis" by Ibn Abd al-Barr al-Qurtubi.In the first hapter, the study provided terminological definitions to introduce the author, his work, the concept of semantic elations, and the field of text linguistics. Following the introductory section, the studyconducted an empirical analysis of this extensive and knowledge-rich book, specifically focusing on semantic relations within the text. The identified semantic relations included synonymy and antonymy, question-answer relations, generalization and specification,all of which may seem unfamiliar within the domain of rhetoric but are still relevant. Synonymy, resembling a form of parallelism, operates at the level of form, while antonymy exhibits contrast and opposition. The question-answer relation is closely linked to the discourse structure of news and composition. Similarly, the relationship between generalization and specification, and that between the general and the specific, fall under the purview of semantics.Overall, this study contributes to a linguistic and semantic understanding of meaning in the context of Ibn Abd al-Barr al-Qurtubi&’s book, shedding light on the significance of semantic relations within rhetorical analysis. The findings emphasize the interconnectedness of rhetorical and semantic imensions, thereby enriching the field of textual studies.
