Résumé: The more known idea in “The clash of civilizations”, is Huntington’s belief in the inevitable clash between Islamic and Western civilization, claiming a violent origin of Islam, but this idea was frequently denounced by intellectuals, which was a reason of some important moderation of Huntington’s thought posteriorly, for example: he warned of the risk of the adoption of Western Democracy and morality on Westerners and others, and he supposed the possibility of replacing this dilapidated system with Islamic regime, if it proves its efficiency. Also Huntington warned to confuse between Islam as a religion, The Islamic Civilization, and among extremist currents on the other hand, he had a great admiration for the union and solidarity of Muslims through the world, and he advised Islamic states to choose a leader state between them, for solving their problems.
